About Us
In 2008 the concept of Florenza’s Treasures was conceived as the reinvention of Florenza Leathergoods, originally founded in 1976 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina by Joan Vine. Partnering with her cousin, Cheryl LaSasso, and in keeping with the spirit of Joan’s approach we decided to take her shop on the road via the internet super highway. We’ve combed the factories in Italy, the US and other parts of the world looking for beautiful and unique pieces that are of superb quality and will enhance everyday living. Bringing our complementary strengths, interests and areas of expertise along with our flair for design and understanding of what the customers’ desires the philosophy behind Florenza’s Treasures was born.
